Vascular Surgery
Vascular surgery involves repairing or replacing blood vessels that have become narrowed or occluded due to poor cirrculation. Common vessels requiring surgery include the carotid arteries in the neck, the abdominal aorta, and the arteries of the legs. With our aging population, peripheral artery disease (PAD) is becoming more prevalent. Be sure to ask your surgeon if you are a candidate for vascular surgery.
